For a country so small (second smallest in Asia and one of the smallest in the world), Lebanon sure has a lot of offer. It’s also said Lebanon is one of the few places you can ski in the morning and then enjoy the beach in the afternoon.
With mountains literally emerging straight out of the sea, you can experience everything from the oldest continuously inhabitated city in the world – Byblos – to the brutualist architectural dream of the abandoned world fair site in Tripoli.
Lebanon of course has been plagued by conflict and a trip south to the eerie Al-Khiam prison or the themepark like Hezbollah museum is a must.
Of course it’s not just amazing history and the sad side of political reality that should draw you to Lebanon, Beirut is a heaving cosmopolitan city with amazing food and nightlife and is a must visit for any traveller.
If our group tour dates don't work for you, we also organise customised independent tours to Lebanon, so why not get in touch!
Sadly at the moment running tours in Lebanon isn't really an option. Therefor, for the foreseeable future, our Syria tours will be starting and ending in Jordan, and our Lebanon tours will be suspended until we can return with confidence. Read more about the situation here .
