Uzbekistan Like Never Before

Uzbekistan is now completely open to foreign visitors, but not that many have been coming. So guess what that means… the usually extremely busy tourist sites are there to be enjoyed without contending with large crowds. Excellent for us!

There are no quarantine requirements anymore and all you are require is a negative PCR test from less than 48 hours before arrival. Uzbekistan has no restrictions on land borders other than those imposed by its neighbours.

Most passports can enter Uzbekistan visa free now, meaning you’ve got no excuse not to head to Uzbekistan.

The current visa restrictions are as follows:

Can enter for 90 days visa free:

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

Can enter for 60 days visa free:

Kyrgyzstan.

Can enter for 30 days visa free:

All European Union Citizens, Andorra, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malaysia , Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Vatican City.

Can enter visa free for 10 days, air arrival only:

China, Hong Kong, Macau, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.

The following countries can utilise Uzbekistan’s e-visa system:

The cost is only $20 USD and is valid for 30 days. You should apply at least 3 days before your trip.

Albania, Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Fiji, Gabon, Ghana, Guyana, India, Iran, Jordan, Laos, Lebanon, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Morocco, Nauru, Nepal, North Korea, North Macedonia, Palau, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Seychelles, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Surinam,  Thailand, Tonga, Tunisia, United States, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Vietnam.

All other passports will require a visa in advance.
