Tajikistan - Open For Business

Tajikistan is taking tourists and has been for the last year. Unfortunately, at the moment, land borders are not open, but that is due to change at some point during the year. In the meantime you can still fly in to Dushanbe.

All you require to travel to Tajikistan is a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival.

Tajikistan has not had a very large number of Coronavirus cases; however the Tajik population is quite young and not much testing has been done. There are also very little in the way of any restrictions inside Tajikistan.

The normal e-visa system is in place which allows most nationalities to get a visa online quite quickly and easily.

All European union citizens, Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belize, Benin, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Cape Verde, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rice, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Fiji, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela, Vietnam and Yemen.

The following countries are visa free:

Unlimited entry: Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Russia.

90 Days: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

30 Days: Uzbekistan.

All other passports will require a visa in advance.
