Kyrgyzstan continues to remain open to almost all nationalities (strangely enough passport holders of Western Sahara (Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic) and Kosovo are refused entry into Kyrgyzstan), as it was throughout 2021. The normal rules apply to anyone arriving at Bishkek, Osh or Issyk-Kol airports, whereby you’re either eligible for visa free or require an e-visa.

The land border with Uzbekistan is still open, however the land borders with Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are not.

Kyrgyzstan has an extremely sparse population and also a small population meaning that the pandemic has not hit them as hard as other parts of the world. This has meant and continues to mean that there are very few restrictions inside Kyrgyzstan, with no limitations on movement or businesses.
